Human beings are remarkably adaptable creatures. Our ability to thrive under a variety of circumstances is one of the reasons man has been so successful. But at times, our ability to adjust puts us at a disadvantage — like when we become so used to living with chronic pain that we simply go on with our lives rather than seeking a solution.
Rebecca Sipes had been living with a level of pain that she described as “above 10, beyond off the charts” before she came to the Spine Institute Northwest. She experienced excruciating leg pain, with burning toes, cramping calves, and aching legs. She was able to adapt and endure it, but a life with that kind of pain is not your best life.
After a minimally invasive lumbar fusion procedure at the Spine Institute Northwest, Rebecca’s pain went from “above 10” to zero. Not long after the procedure, she related, “right now, I haven’t, I don’t have any [pain]!” After living with brutal leg pain, at last Rebecca says, “I feel great. I mean I just, I feel great.”
Thanks to the caring doctors and staff at the Spine Institute Northwest, Rebecca is off to a great start in her journey to being pain-free. She thanks the professionals at the Spine Institute Northwest for their level of expertise and care in helping her eliminate her pain. “I think this is the best place,” Rebecca concludes. “Everybody is caring and right there to make sure your needs are met.”
